Beginning of a teaching career:
Hello.
My name’s Florian MARQUET and my English name is Mike. I come from France, and I’m a 23 year old student who already have a bachelor degree and an Advanced Vocational Training Certificate in Customer Relations.
What interests me more is teaching languages. I’ve always have been good at learning languages and I have an Advance level in Spanish and English.
At the age of 11 years old, I left France for a language stay in England, Plymouth city for a month. I did another Language Stay at the age of 13 years old in England, Birmingham and in Spain, Barcelona. At 18 years old I have traveled to South America and spent 2 months in Ecuador and Bolivia.
Since my 20 years old I have been volunteering as an interpreter for the most famous folk Festival in the world; the festival of folk music and dance of Confolens, which is part of UNESCO and CIOFF world cultural organizations.
Unfortunately, I don’t have any teaching experience yet. The only thing somehow connected with teaching was teaching children from 8 to 12 years old on how to row a kayak during some summer camps organized in my city.
I’ve been rewarded for being a fun, patient and responsible teacher.
I really think I’m suitable for the position of an English teacher as I like children, and eager to learn more about the Chinese culture. My English level is definitely enough to teach kids.
